How do I register for the race?
We suggest you register early online. Additionally, we plan to accommodate late registrations at packet pick-up or on race day morning. To register online, please click here.
Can I register on race day or at packet pickup?
Yes, subject to availability you can.
Do you take credit cards on race day?
Yes, we will accept most major credit cards on race day and at packet pick-up. No checks, please.
Is there packet pickup before the race?
Yes. Multiple sites and times will be listed here soon!
Can I pick up my packet on race day?
Yes, we will offer packet pick-up on race day from 6:00 – 7:45 AM. However, we encourage packet pick-up participation or early arrival to ensure making your race start time.
Can I pick up another runner’s packet for them or can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes, but you must bring a copy of their photo ID. This can either be a paper copy or a picture of it on your phone.
What do I need to bring with me to pick up my race packet?
All you need is a photo ID.
Where do I park on race day? Is there a fee to park?
Downtown Clearwater offers several free and paid parking options. For more information on where to park for the race, please, click here. Remember, be sure to get to the race EARLY to secure a good parking spot!
What time does the race start?
The half marathon will start at 7 a.m., the 5K will start at 7:30, and the kids’ dash will start at 7:45 a.m.
Will this be a chip timed race?
Yes, we use bib chip timing.
Are the courses certified?
Yes, our courses are USATF certified.
Will you have water and aid stations on the course?
Yes, below is our water and hydration station information.
There will be 9 on-course hydration stations offering water and Gatorade:
- Mile 1.5
- Mile 3.0
- Mile 4.4
- Mile 5.5
- Mile 7.0
- Mile 8.8
- Mile 10.1
- Mile 11.1
- Mile 12
There will be 1 on-course aid station at Mile 1.5 (double-sided).
Where can I find my race results and pictures?
We will post links to your race results and pictures on our Results and Pictures page, on social media and through email links.
Will you have a photographer?
Will there be finisher medals?
Yes, we will have finisher medals for the Half Marathon and 5k races as well as ribbons for the Kids Dash.
Will there be food at the finish line?
Of course! Post-race food and drinks will be provided by our generous sponsors.
What are the awards and age group breakdowns?
For both the Half Marathon and 5K, our age group awards are: Overall Male, Overall Female, Masters Male, Masters Female, 10 – Under, 11 – 14, 15 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70+.
When is the award ceremony and where is it held?
The award ceremony will be held at Coachman Park following the race.
What is included in the registration fee?
Your registration fee includes a chip timed racing bib, t-shirt, finisher medal, swag bag, post-race food & beverage, On-Site Race Day Expo, fun and the opportunity to be a part of Team CFY!
Is there an age limit for younger runners?
Yes, you must be 12 years of age or older to sign up for the half marathon. There is no age limit for the 5k or Kids Dash.
Can I run/walk with a stroller and my kids?
Yes! We welcome families to run/walk the race together. If you are running the half marathon, we do not recommend you participating in that distance with a stroller. For the safety of the other runners, please start in the back of the corral.
Can I run with my dog?
Yes, you can. If you are running the half marathon, we do not recommend you participating in that distance with your dog. For the safety of the other runners, please start in the back of the corral.
Is this race walker friendly?
Yes! Our walkers are also welcomed to sign up for our 5K distance. In order to sign up for the half marathon, you must be able to finish it in 4 hours.
Do I need to be a fast, super athlete/runner to participate?
Of course not! Whether this is your first half marathon or 100th 5K, we welcome athletes of all levels. We offer two distances – Half Marathon & 5K and a new Kids Dash for all those mini supporters! However, in order to sign up for the half marathon, you must be able to finish it in 4 hours.
I am no longer able to participate on the day of the race. Can I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds, sorry.
Will the race be cancelled or postponed due to bad weather? What is the refund policy?
While bad weather is out of our hands, we do not offer refunds in the untimely event that the race needs to be cancelled.
Can we bring friends or family to cheer us on?
Please do! Have them cheer at the start/finish line or along the designated sidelines of the race course. They can also enjoy the On-Site Day of Race Expo!
